Without any shadow of unbelief, ours is a jet age. You can travel around the globe while lying on your bed with the click of a computer mouse. With the swirling speed of technological inventions and innovations, it has become increasingly clear that productivity has taken over from mediocrity. You know what am talking about…don’t you? Yes it’s a new year…chronologically for some individuals its an old year that has just changed date. For them, the only thing that has changed is the calendar, nothing else!They are still hugging their negative habits like a teddy bear, holding on to the barricade of limitations that has become a wall to their aspirations. Each of the 365 days of this year, unveils to you another opportunity to change the story line of your life. I will be sharing with you what it takes to be a peak performer in 2011, from the word P.E.A.K.I continue from where we stopped last week. Letter E stands for –

EXCELLENCE
I have met individuals who are desirous of success, but don’t want to commit to excellence.W.STEVE BROWN got it right when he said: ‘The difference between the successful and the unsuccessful is simple. The successful person has developed the habit of doing things unsuccessful people do not’. If you are an entrepreneur, don’t just start that business because you need money to pay your bills, go into the business because you want to offer excellent service. Be willing to do things that will ‘wow’ those around you. Autograph your work with excellence.

EXPRESS YOUR EXPERTISE
Success is a result of what sociologists call accumulative advantage.Its those successful experts who are most likely to be given the kind of special opportunities that leads to further success. Like moths flutter around a candle flame, and ants swarm around granules of sugar, excuses are part of what clings on you when you are on a mission, burning with a vision, the sting of excuses tempts you to throw in the towel in the face of persecution.The most unpleasant guest you could ever entertain is an excuse.The worst thing ever invented is an excuse.

EXECUTION
We are often bombarded with a plurality of reasons to remain where we are. If you desire to win in 2011 , you ,ve got to be willing to embrace the virtue of execution. Its not enough to have a fantastic business idea, beautifully crafted movie script, very persuasive proposal, what turns the idea from a mere fantasy to a reality is simply execution. Don’t just dream it, dare to do it.
